This course provides a practical, strengths‑based introduction to leadership for globally mobile students. Through real-world examples, reflection activities, and evidence‑based insights, students learn how to lead authentically, communicate effectively, and collaborate across cultures.

Understanding Leadership Fundamentals

Learn what leadership truly is, why it matters, and how effective leaders influence others through vision, integrity, empathy, and resilience.

Exploring Foundational Leadership Styles

Students learn the strengths, limitations, and real‑world applications of 6 leadership styles, and reflect on how their values and CliftonStrengths® themes shape their natural leadership approach.

Developing Essential Leadership Skills

Developing essential leadership skills helps students strengthen communication, decision‑making, emotional intelligence, and collaboration so they can lead with clarity, confidence, and cultural awareness.

Student Leadership Opportunities

Student Leadership Opportunities introduces students to meaningful ways they can practice leadership on campus by taking on roles in clubs, peer mentoring, volunteer initiatives, and collaborative academic projects that strengthen confidence and real‑world experience.
